In my estimation the best eye protection that has ever been made for playing airsoft or any other similar activity using low-powered projectiles where eye pro is required. So in classic fashion, these have sadly been discontinued. I think this set was actually one of the last in stock anywhere when I bought it in 2019.
Not cheap, but very high end.
Kit comes in a fairly decent PALS case, which is fairly pointless but weirdly common with all sorts of military kit like optics, lasers, binoculars etc.
Unlike the ESS Turbofans (also discontinued) the battery pack isn’t attached to the head band, the wire isn’t sewn in and the connecting wire can be unplugged from the goggle body. Meaning you can re-route the wire and attach the battery pack anywhere e.g. to a helmet.
Fairly standard headphone jack type connection. Foam isn’t peeling away despite how the image looks, just a little excess glue.
If these were still available, I would buy another pair.
