UNITY Tactical SARA adapters for Sordin along with the (original Mk1) MARK helmet mounts for MTEK M-LOK.
I use my Peltors on my OC lid, and the classic 3M arms for those allow the main components of the headset to swap between the helmet mount and standalone headband pretty easily. At the time I picked up these Unity accessories though (some years ago), I wasn’t aware of anything similar for the Sordin headsets. The AMP arms and many products from AXL for example weren’t around yet.
This solution does require time and a small tool to switch around (1x small allen bolt on each SARA), so it’s not going to be ideal if you have a need or desire to alternate between your electronic ear pro being helmet mounted for protection over to being attached on the normal band for training where nothing is coming towards you. On the flip side, it all locks in solidly if you don’t have that desire.

Also of note is that the SARAs are a permanent modification. Getting them attached isn’t hard but isn’t as simple as some things.
These original MARK mounts were on a clearance sale at the time I got them, so I was lucky enough to get a much lower price than the current offerings, but they do have the disadvantage of the rail mount screw being underneath the other hardware. This means removing the mounts is a multi step process, unlike the current product. Either option is another admin task involving tools and small fasteners though, it’s something to be done far away from where the headset is actually necessary, so that’s not drama.
Both the MARKs I have and the current production are only able to be rotated in the usual fashion around the mounting block, they don’t have the ‘pop out’ ability, which as a fair few of you will know actually adds to their longevity. The pricing is not cheap but not unreasonable or unexpected. Manufacture quality overall is very high in line with everything else I’ve seen from Unity.
PPE for any part of your head is definitely an investment, and for most people I think these Unity offerings would functionally last far longer than is needed before the tech moves on enough that they go shopping for an upgrade anyway.
