Crye G3 Combat Trousers – Woodland MARPAT

An entirely normal cut of G3 combat pant, just made from the USMC issued 50/50 NYCO Twill fabric.

While the FR versions of these with Drifire labels have been sold commercially, these NYCO versions have never graced store shelf, sadly.

Unfortunately I have to just take the lighting I get on any given day so these images are a smidge washed out making the pattern look lighter than it is, but if you use the search function here on the site you can find plenty of other images of G3s in Woodland MARPAT (box is right at the bottom on mobile).

Standard Crye branded edging tape shown above.

Proper issued MARPAT fabric with the EGA in the usual places.

This particular set comes from a time that was not too early on in G3 production, as the label does not have the white box outline around it.

I can only take a stab in the dark as to the fact that these sets were made for USMC SOF and they were most certainly made in very small numbers. Examples in private hands are few and far between so I’m personally quite happy to have this pair.
