Dynamic Fuzz – Fuzz Covers

Another ear pro addition, but for the outsides this time.

A good while back I went through a short stint of obsessively trying to camo match every little thing which was a bad idea and I should have known better. I certainly learnt a lesson. There is some small practical application to these if you need to route a cable over your muffs and they do look better than the shiny plastic Sordin and Peltor use on a lot of models. Better enough to purchase vs using 2 pennies of spray paint? Probably depends if you have to hand back the headset.

I’ve had these for almost 5 years now with no signs of delamination on the cordura covers and the specific sticky loop fields supplied have remained tenacious. Quality is high.

If you do get shot at with low velocity projectiles these might well actually be worth the investment, I’ll say that. I’ve seen dozens of small plastic items like gear buckles, rail covers and helmet rails etc lose chunks in airsoft so there is that factor to consider. I know when I play the game I keep my phone in a fabric bag, inside a pouch, with something padded like a pair of gloves or beanie outboard of the device.

Not a vital purchase for most folks, but a nice little addition in my eyes. DF make various widgets to cover all sorts of helmet parts, mounts and handsets. A neat American company that makes good bits and pieces if you’re a camo nerd like myself.
