Famous Ukrainian producer of custom combat uniforms Roman Kurmaz has occasionally sold chimera items like this for a very low price. They’ve always been snapped up very fast, but I was lucky enough to secure this pair in my size and in a set of patterns that will actually work just fine here in the UK. After years of collecting all sorts of different camo uniforms I really liked the idea of owning some item of apparel that was outside the norm.

Patterns in the mix include the following:
- Russian Skol
- Multicam Tropic
- Spec4ce Afghan Forest (ANA)
- Italian Vegetato
- Danish M84
- Pencott GreenZone
- All Terrain TigerStripe
- Swiss Tarnmuster16
Plus of course grey stretch panels and tan hook and loop.

Why do these exist? Well, before the Russian invasion, Roman would test and train up any new employees at his sewing shop by using up all the left over pieces of fabric that weren’t otherwise useful to make in to a standard garment. Of course it’s just a natural side effect of manufacturing a lot of camo clothing that numerous scraps of material will accumulate over time.
The almost inevitable irony is that these odd ducks would be snapped up and almost enjoy a greater level of popularity than the standard uniform items form Kurmaz Gear.
