A nice addition to any Gen 2 or 3 Crye field or combat shirt. Wish I could find a reputable OEM to make these again and sell them online (preferably not in china), but no luck thus far. I’ll endeavour to ask around at SHOT ’26.
The last time I tagged someone with the capacity to make and sell these, they just went ‘great idea, see ya’, didn’t deem me worthy of actually including even in any small way, took a shit ton of money from people in pre-orders (mostly for uniforms but also for plates); then according to my DMs, just vanished with everyone’s money a few months ago with zero product delivered.
Prior to that they were made by a company in Asia (not china) which offers non-duty quality/economy hobbyist tactical kit in perhaps the widest range of camos of any retailers on the planet. But they also made various knock-offs, which I don’t get along with. They told me time and again that the rips-offs would stop, but that was all lies so I let that relationship wither and die.
These plates obviously aren’t anything that’s tactically necessary, but I don’t see any issue with sometimes working on little things that can be applied to serious kit and are just a bit of fun for those who are really in to camo (which is a fair few people turns out).
