Just an image showing very early Crye prototypes. I don’t collect photos other than my own (99% of the time) but I’ve had this one saved because it doesn’t crop up as much as some others from the same time.
I’d say the shirt is a proto from even before the gen 1 commercial release. Probably a similar story with the chassis.
The carbine is perfect though, N1 stock and perhaps a Comp M? Me gusta.
Also thanks to @kit_creep on IG who linked me to the full technical document for the helmet prototypes that Crye was working on at the time. There’s minimal imagery of the gear within this pdf, but if you want to know some intricate details about the work on the helmet design that is feature in a lot of pictures from the gen 0/pre-commercial time period of the company, then feel free to check it out.
