My totally standard issue, not Crye, not gucci, non-provenanced, unmodified ACU shirt in the Universal Camouflage Pattern (so called).
As someone who particularly likes militaria from the 2000s, I just had to have one of these. I always recall the US soldiers in Hollywood films changing from the classic woodlands I’d always known over to this (at the time) insanely futuristic new ‘digital’ camo. Then of course a good portion of the busiest years in Afghan and Iraq saw the US Army deploy huge quantities of this pattern.
Sizing does seem to take in to account any insulating ECWCS base layers, because this Small-Reg is about 5″ too small in the chest for me according to the label (states 37″ max and I’m around 41-42). While it’s snug and I will start looking for a medium, it’s still quite wearable and allows for full range of movement.
While the chest pockets are quite pathetic in design the fabric and other materials are really quite high end, far exceeding the quality of most national military issued garments across the globe. If these shirts came in a wide range of camos and could always be had for surplus prices, there wouldn’t be nearly as much of a market for many other tactical apparel companies (the reality of course, is not that).

IR reflective tab sewn in but can be covered with included flap.

Pen slots on left forearm.

Reinforced elbow area with opening for adding a pad.

Chest pockets only sized to hold DoW/D issued ID card/douments.

Chunky vislon zip and velcro tabs for main front closure.
