If you want some admin storage in that handy-dandy spot right on the front of your rig but behind your placard (keeping everything nice and slick and compact), then this is a great product that’s super simple and lightweight.
It’s fairly small but is also the ideal size for the common dimensions of a waterproof notepad, small folded map, various popular smart devices, some money, your wallet and keys, etc etc.
Shown here on the F9 Gear Ammo Hub A1, which is pretty much the standardised height for a placard, so I do wish the bag was just that 1″ taller to help better fit a lot of modern phones inside chunky cases. But equally if it was deeper you would need to pad it out in order to not lose some smaller items right down in there.
The AXL Burrito Bag is another great option with more capacity and openings either side of your placard, but obviously if you have other pouches pushed right up to the sides of said placard you may wish to stick to that top mounted zip.
