This is my previous CB PC setup. I dug back back through my cloud archives and I bought this lot back around 2014. It’s an FS Cummerbund in the original style supplied with v1 Strandhöggs and then a custom order pair of plate bags/shoulder straps.
As soon as I first saw the FS Tubes being shown off around 2011 or so I instantly said ‘yep that’s exactly what I need, I’m having those all the time so I never have to tear up a front flap ever again’. Then I preordered a first batch ‘högg, received it in 2012 and there was no looking back.
The only small change I really wanted to the FS rig was native placard compatibility that VelSys/Mayflower had been pushing hard and popularising in the market. Front pouches with inserts did exist but I wasn’t aware of them, so what I wanted at the time was to swap whole placards from 556 to SMG etc (obviously the HSGI TACOs helped with some rifle mag types).
I had other nit-pick ‘wants’ and nothing commercially available in 2012/13 was exactly what I wanted, so the bags were commissioned through a little one-man shops in the states, who is sadly long out of the game. Not super sleek looking compared to modern laminate PCs, no cable management to speak of, but well sewn and did exactly what I needed for hobby use.

Obviously the pouches are weirdly far back, but ~12 years ago I was wearing my PCs too low, my 3 row PALS battle belts/yoke combos too high and my 1911/mags would get hung up without making a clear path for them to draw upwards.
Took some photos more recently before selling this on.
