There’s barely anything visibly different between all these, nothing a normal person would call significant, but as soon as I noticed this phenomena I had to look in to it. Only found images of 3 for sure so there are probably more out there, but these are all I could find online (haven’t seen any others in the flesh).

1. Something along the lines of a production prototype. No windows in pic, but had just 1 on the left side as with other original versions, which is fine for proper-handed firers. No insertion stop, very cool Union Jack on the right side with no practical use. Apparently incredibly few made, I’d wager only done to try and land the contract.
1.5 (Not shown) Single window but without the Union Jack. I remember these existing and others have reported owning them, but I don’t have an image at this moment.

2. Main production version, windowed both sides, no insertion stop. Every mag I can ever recall seeing in service has been this type.

3. Another production version, again has both windows, insertion stop this time. Don’t know how long these were made for, (presumably not long at all) or if the MoD actually bought them.
I have seen pictures of tan ones, but if they were factory made they were again incredibly small in number. I’d guess: coated after the fact.
For a brief time these were sold in the UK through retailers of gun parts and PTS even sold airsoft replicas, both of which I’m very glad I snaffled a few of while they were available.
